Acorn Pediatric Consulting is a behavioral health practice that aims to support children and the people in their world who care for them. Through of a model founded on collaboration, learning and support, we are reimagining how we deliver care through community building. By “connecting the dots” on care delivery, we aim to create a unified system to support children, parents, and educators - no matter the setting.
Services Offered
Leadership & Motivational Coaching for Clinical Providers
Motivational and Leadership Coaching is available for providers working in pediatric settings to reduce burn out and to help acheive career goals. Dr Ellis’ extensive training and experience in leadership allows her to provide individualized support tailored to each persons needs. Services offered both virtually and in person.
Schools & Early Childhood Learning Centers
We acknowledge that there are many demands placed on educators in today’s society. Professional development for staff to help better understand how they can care for both themselves and their students is available. Individual consultation to assist teachers with specific challenges they may be facing in their classroom is provided.
Education & Therapy for Parents and Children
Parenting with grace and understanding how to handle life’s challenging moments can be difficult. Dr. Ellis offers in person small group gatherings for parents to learn about some of the most commonly asked questions. Parent Pop-In classes are available with rotating times and topics each month.
Individual sessions, including therapy for parents, children and testing for common childhood concerns such as ADHD, learning challenges and Autism are also available for those needing more support.
